AppRun does not find file (wrong path ???)

Postby mr_cg » Sun May 01, 2011 9:20 am

Hello all,
i tried to make the Game "TORCS" portable and i am using Ubuntu 10.10 installation on virtual box.
I am a real newbie in terms of generating portable apps so maybe i am doing something wrong.

I have generated the Torcs.AppDir successfully after the installation of TORCS accroding to instruction in youtube video.
But when i try to run the "./AppRun" in the Torcs.AppDir (same with generated portable binary) i get the following error message:
./ .//lib/torcs/setup_linux.sh file does not exist, check your installation

Anyhow, when i am searching in the Torcs.AppDir than i can find the file in the following directory:
./Torcs.AppDir/usr/lib/torcs/setup_linux.sh

For me it seems that portableapps package does not have the correct path level so that the file could not be found.
Do i need to modify anything manually to get it working ???

Many thanks !!!

Please upload your AppDir so that we can have a look.
If you like PortableLinuxApps and the AppImage format, you might consider a donation --> Image
