moonOS 4 "Neak"

Probono, are you involved in moonOS 4 http://moonos.org/news/11-releases/28-moonos-4-neak-released?

I think it has really great features.

Introducing new moonOS File Hierarchy System
    Introducing Appshell Framework.

But they use Ubuntu 10.10 as a base and therefore not all PortableLinux Images will work and that's to bad.

Hi andy, I've briefly looked at it and it seems like they got some inspiration from our project, but didn't quite follow through.

The main difference is that AppShell apps don't run on stock Ubuntu, Fedora, openSUSE systems, while AppImages do. I would assume AppImages run on moonOS as well, so the need for just another format isn't obvious to me.
If you like PortableLinuxApps and the AppImage format, you might consider a donation --> Image

Thanks for the explanation. Though there is a difference between AppShell and AppImages.
I will try moonOS on the weekend and report back on what's working and what fails.
