Question on aMule Portable?

Dear e-readers,

Greetings to all!

I have a question regarding aMule Portable. According the its Web-page on portablelinuxapps, aMule connects to the eD2k network, but nothing is said about the Kad network. On my Puppy Linux, I have aMule installed (version 2.2.6 which is the same as the portable one), but it connects to both the eD2k network and the Kad network. I guess you know what I am arriving at, does aMule Portable support both the eD2k network and the Kad network?
