YAP prolog and AppDirAssistant

Hi,
I've tried to use AppDirAssistant to create a portable version of yap prolog from a .deb, but in the final step of AppDir, during the profiling, it remains blocked and not finish the procedure.

I suppose the problem is that yap is a command line app...

Is there a solution?

When it seems to hang, close it with

Code: Select all

killall yap

Then the AppDirAssistant should continue as normal

i've tried to use appimage onto the appdir that I created with the assistant, but appimage now crash too, after I select the correct directory... solutions??

p.s.
yap doesn't have an icon, then I've modified the yap.desktop in the appdir, and I've changed the line "Icon=yap" with "Icon=yap.png", and put the icon yap.png in the Yap.AppDir ...

The icon is too large to fit into the ELF header, I converted it to a 48x48 png and it works. Note that you also need to bundle libtinfo.so.5. I also modified the desktop file slightly.
